Becoming aware and staying aware of expenses when using cloud services is critical to being able to optimize for cost. Optimizing for cost entails thinking about ways to model spending to help forecast cost expectations. To accurately track actual spending, and to use the right tools to analyze how actual usage is aligning with the plan. One tool AWS provides to help with building a spending model is the Simple Monthly Calculator. This is a tool that helps to forecast expected spend. And so this tool can actually be found in a URL entitled over here. It's found at calculator.s3.amazonaws.com And on the left here you see a lot of different services that are provided by AWS.
