Install an Apache web server
- [Instructor] In the previous video, we created a Linux-based EC2 instance. Now it's time to configure that instance to act as a web server. So as you can see, I'm logged into my instance and I've logged in using an SSH client called Buddy. Now if you're not familiar with the procedure for connecting to an EC2 instance, all you have to do is go to the EC2 dashboard, which you can see right here, and then select your web server and then go to Connect. And when you do that, there are some instructions that are provided. So with that said, I'm going to switch back to my terminal. And most of what I'm going to be doing in this terminal requires root privileges. So to do that, I'm going to use the sudo su command. And so now I have root privileges. So the next thing that I want to do is to make sure that my virtual machine instance is fully up to date. So to do that, I'm going to use the sudo yum update command, and I'm going…
