- [Instructor] Before you begin migrating a workload to the cloud, there are a number of logistical considerations that you will have to take into account. One of the most important considerations is how much bandwidth you have, and how much of that bandwidth is currently in use. Because when you take an application that's running on premises, and you shift that application to the cloud, then you're going to end up consuming a little bit of extra internet bandwidth as users access that application in its new location. So if you find that you don't have enough bandwidth available to support that application, then you may need to look at alternative measures. Some cloud providers offer a direct connection between your data center and the cloud, so that might be an option, but depending on where you're located at, a direct connection might not be available.
