Implementing step scaling

- [Instructor] Now that we have an understanding of scaling policies, let's add a step scaling policy to our load balancer. From the EC2 dashboard, I navigate to the Auto Scaling section and click the Auto Scaling Groups link. I select my auto scaling group, then click on the Automatic scaling tab on the lower half of the screen. Resizing the screen a bit, I see I have a couple of options. I could create a scaling policy or I could create a scheduled scaling action. While scheduled actions are useful for anticipated changes in demand, for example, starting instances before a big marketing push that would drive traffic your way, I'm going to focus on creating a step scaling policy. I get started by clicking the Add policy button. This takes me to the Create scaling policy page. For policy, I specify step scaling. I then proceeded to name the scaling policy.
