How to recover when things go wrong on AWS

- [Brien] In the world of IT, disasters are sometimes unavoidable, but when disaster happens it's extremely important to have a plan in place for getting your data back and for quickly bringing business critical workloads back online. Hi, I'm Brien Posey, a 19 time, Microsoft MVP and commercial astronaut candidate. In this course, I'm going to be talking all about backup and disaster recovery, especially as it relates to the Amazon cloud. Some of the key concepts that I'll be discussing include backing up and restoring Amazon EC2 virtual machine instances, backing up your on-premises virtual machines to the Amazon cloud and performing workload fail-overs within the Amazon cloud. So thank you for joining me for this course. It should be fun.
