Exploring Elastic File System

- [Instructor] Now that we have an Elastic File System set up, let's explore how it works. Visually, I have three instances running across three subnets in three availability zones. I went ahead and mounted EFS to each one of these instances. Let's take a quick look at how they're configured. Remember, AWS gives you instructions on how to mount EFS from within the VPC, both note, I use the EFS mount helper and the TLS mount option as I'm encrypting traffic, as it traverses the network. Navigating over to the EC2 management dashboard, I can see three running instances, one in each availability zone. Let's take a closer look at the configuration of one of these instances. Note on the lower half of the screen, the IAM role of sbmEFS. This role is applied to each of those instances. Let's go ahead and take a look at that role.
