- [Instructor] Over time, as you work longer with AWS, you're going to find your account has more and more resources. And it may be difficult to manage these resources. It may be difficult to know what was built whether your administrators are actually in compliance with what your company mandates. AWS Config allows you to audit and evaluate the configurations of AWS resources that are found in your AWS account. Config uses rules to maintain desired compliance levels within your AWS account and these are rules that you can enable or create yourself. The benefits of AWS Config are that you can get notified when resources are changed or modified. You can use the historical data that is captured by config for auditing and compliance needs.
