- [Brien] The next step in preparing for a migration is to download and deploy the Server Migration Connector. Right now, I'm logged into the AWS Management Console and I've got the list of services on screen. So what I'm going to do is scroll down and I'm going to go to the Migration & Transfer section, which you can see right here. From there, what I'm going to do is click on Server Migration Service, and this is going to take me into the AWS Server Migration Service console. I'll go ahead and click the blue Get Started button, and this is going to take me to a screen where I have the option to download various components. Because we're preparing to do a migration for Microsoft Hyper-V, we need to choose the appropriate option, so to do that, I'm going to click on the Download VHD ZIP button, and now, I'm prompted to save a ZIP file.
