- [Instructor] The first step in preparing to migrate Hyper-V virtual machines to the cloud is to create a service account. So right now I'm logged into my domain controller and I'm going to go ahead and open server manager. With server manager open, I'm going to go to the Tools menu, and I'm going to choose the Active Directory Users and Computers option. The next thing that I'm going to do is to go to the User's container. I'm going to right click on Users and choose the New User command. And now I'm prompted to enter the name of the user account that I want to create. I'm going to call my service account, AWSSBC. So I'll go ahead and enter that now. And I'll click next. Now I'm prompted to enter a password for the user account that I'm creating, I'll go ahead and do that now. I'm going to clear the user must change password at next logon checkbox. And click Next, followed by Finish. So now my service account has been…
