Creating a launch template

- [Narrator] Now, that we have demonstrated how to set up a launch configuration, let's create a launch template to illustrate the preferred approach on which to base an auto-scale group. Starting from the EC2 dashboard, I select the launch templates link under instances in the left hand nav. From the main launch template screen, I click the create launch template button. I first specify the name of web-demo-lt for the name of the launch template. I also enter a description. Remember it's possible to version launch templates. So, this description is specific to this template. In this case, I intend on using the launch template with an auto scale group, so, I click the check box that will customize the wizard to help me accomplish my goal. Under the template tags, I'm going to add a name tag of web demo lt. Since I am not creating this template from an existing template, I don't need to do anything in the source template…
