Creating an Auto Scaling group

- [Instructor] Now that we have a launch template ready to go, let's go ahead and create an auto scaling group based on that launch template. Visually, we're going to create the auto scaling group, which we'll use the launch template to create a server in each AZ. Let's go into the console and get started. Starting in the EC2 dashboard, I'm going to scroll down in the left hand nav until I get to the auto scaling section, then click the auto scaling groups link. To proceed, I click the create auto scaling group button to start the ASG Wizard. In the first screen, I get to name the auto scaling group. For this demonstration, I'll simply call it web-demo-ASG. Next I'm going to specify the launch template I created. Note that I could specify any version of the template I want.
