Create a SWF domain - Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tutorial
From the course: AWS for Developers: SNS, SQS, and SWF
Create a SWF domain
- [Narrator] In the AWS console click on services in the top menu bar and in the search box type simple workflow and click on the SWF entry that autocompletes. All of our workflows for this project need to be created under a group with SWF calls a domain. This allows you to group all of your related workflows and child workflows for a single project. From the simple workflow service dashboard click on the manage domains button and in the module that comes up click on the register new button. For name type enrollment domain with no space and I capitalized each word. For the retention period set this to seven days. And then click the register button. Click close to close the module. Great. Now that we have a domain created let's set up our first workflow underneath this new domain.
