Create an EC2 instance from a replicated VM

- When you replicate a virtual machine to AWS, the replication process doesn't resolve in the creation of an EC2 virtual machine instance. Instead it creates, what's known as an Amazon Machine Image or AMI as it's often referred to. So let's take a look at one of these AMIs and I'll show you the process for converting an AMI into a virtual machine instance. Right now I'm logged into AWS and I've got the list of services on screen. I'm going to go to the compute section and click on EC2. And this is going to take me to the EC2 dashboard. From there, I'm going to go to the images section and click on AMIs. And here you can see an AMI that was created earlier. This particular AMI was created when I replicated the Azure virtual machine instance. So what I'm going to do is select the AMI, and then I'm going to click launch.
