Connecting to the new server via HTTP
- [Instructor] Okay, I've given some time for the load balancer to be provisioned and in place. I've launched an instance into the target group and I've associated that with a load balancer. So I think it's time to attempt to access our application via HTTP. Just as a reminder, I can go into the EC2 service. I can look at the instance that I have running. I can look at the load balancer that I've created and ensure that that's in an active state. I can look at the target group that was created upon load balancer creation. I can look at my targets. And I've got one instance behind the target, so it's actually actively routing traffic from the load balancer to the instance. So everything looks to be in place and ready for me to test this out again. So to test it out via HTTP, I'll go back to the load balancer and I will grab the DNS name, the public-facing DNS name of the load balancer this time. I'll copy that.…
