Configure the VMware connector
- [Instructor] To migrate your VMware virtual machines, log into the AWS management console and go to the list of services. Next, scroll down through the list of services until you locate the migration and transfer section, which you can see right here. Then click on the server migration service. When you do, you should see that you have a running connector. I'll go ahead and click on the running connector. And we want to verify that the connector is indeed healthy as it is which you can see right here. The next step in the process is to click on servers and then click import server catalog. You'll see a message indicating that this process can take a few minutes. Go ahead and click import. At this point, you'll see a list of all of the virtual machines that have been detected on your VMware host. The next thing that we have to do is to choose which server do we want to migrate to AWS.
