Community clouds

- [Instructor] A community cloud is a type of cloud computing delivery model. With the community cloud, we have limited access. So as opposed to a public cloud which is potentially accessible by anybody over the internet that wants to sign up with an account, a community cloud is limited to specific government agencies at different levels whether federal, state or provincial or municipal and also a community cloud might be limited to specific industries like the pharmaceutical industry or the manufacturing industry. So in the end, a community cloud really means that we have similar computing needs, spread out amongst multiple cloud customers. Now, those computing needs could be related to security and data privacy or line of business applications that need to be used within a certain industry.
