- {Narrator] CloudWatch also has as we know CloudWatch Logs. And this is for storing the monitoring information. When I'm using EC2 instances with the CloudWatch Log agent, and I'm tracking specific patterns on that EC2 instance for applications or the operating system, that information is stored in CloudWatch Logs. The CloudWatch Log agent is typically installed by default, it can actually be used on premise as well. The Log agent supports Linux and both Windows EC2 instances. So if I have an EC2 instance with an enabled CloudWatch Logs Agent, a stream of information at a particular time frame will be delivered to CloudWatch. CloudWatch can analyze that Log Stream and decide if there's an issue. Is there something that needs to be communicated either to a notification system or to automation to solve the potential problem that's happening.
