Change management
- [Instructor] Once our application is functioning and running in production at AWS, we're going to be faced with impending changes. So how do we manage that change? Changes to our application, changes to storage, to architecture, infrastructure. We have to anticipate these changes and plan how we're going to achieve reliable operation in the midst of all this change. One change you'll probably first have to manage is spikes in demand, scaling up and scaling down without a scale. They'll also be new features over time that you're going to want to deploy. And of course, you're going to have to set a schedule for patching your production application. So we have a monitoring workflow to consider. First of all, we have to monitor all of the essential components for your application stack, the application, the network, the storage, the users, the bandwidth, et cetera.
