Challenge: Scale-in policy - Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tutorial
From the course: AWS: High Availability
Challenge: Scale-in policy
(soft instrumental music) - Now that you know about step scaling policies, create one that meets the following requirements. First, if CPU is between 40 and 50% utilization, reduce the number of running instances by one. If CPU use is between 20 and 40%, reduce the number of instances by two. Finally, if CPU drops to under 20%, reduce the number of running instances by three. As you go about implementing these requirements, I want you to consider how many running instances you'll have once the policy is implemented.
