Challenge: Diagram a new workflow
(bright music) - [Instructor] One of the hardest challenges is using the right tool for the right job. In this challenge, you are designing an order fulfillment process for an online retailer. Use a diagramming tool, like draw.io, or just sketch out a diagram on paper, and create an order fulfillment workflow and detail which technology you would use to accomplish each step. Here's your requirements for this project: After an order is received, the customer would like an email notification that their order is being processed, but the billing department also needs to be notified because they need to create a customer profile in their system. The billing department is using software that has an HTTP API, so you can send customer details directly into their system. Once the warehouse gets the order, there will be several seasonal warehouse workers who can fulfill the order and ship it out. And once an order is shipped…
