Basic AWS Server Migration Service limitations

- [Instructor] As you prepare to migrate your virtual machines to the AWS cloud using the Server Migration Service, there are some limitations that you'll need to be aware of. The first of these limitations is the 50 concurrent VM migration limit. The Server Migration Service does allow you to simultaneously migrate multiple virtual machines to the Amazon cloud, but the limit is 50. So if you need to simultaneously migrate more than 50 virtual machines, then you'll need to contact Amazon to get an increase in the limit. Another limitation that you need to be aware of is the 90 days of service limit. This one requires just a little bit of explaining. When you set up a replication job to replicate a virtual machine to the Amazon cloud, you're given a choice as to how you want the replication to occur.
