Azure migration requirements

- [Instructor] If you're planning on migrating some of your Azure virtual machines to the AWS cloud, then there are a few basic requirements that are going to have to be met. In order to migrate these virtual machines, you're going to have to create an Azure virtual machine that's going to host a connector that will facilitate communication between the Azure environment and the AWS environment. So this connector VM is going to exist in the Azure cloud, and it needs to be of type F4 or higher. Now, F4, if you're not familiar with it, simply means that the virtual machine is equipped with four virtual CPUs and eight gigabytes of RAM. So those are kind of the minimum hardware requirements. You're also going to need to make sure that your Azure environment is equipped with a standard storage account, because premium storage accounts aren't supported by the server migration service.
