- [Narrator] These days we can not have data processing delays in our system. We need to respond now, in real time. For that, we need to build applications that can support the input of hundreds of thousands of data records simultaneously from different sources. In this course, I will show you how to create a production-ready application that can scale, be cost efficient, and support real-time input of data. We are going to use a serverless architecture in the cloud and infrastructure as code. This will help us to build a very scalable backend where we only pay for what we use, and also is easy to maintain and extend. We are going to learn the different AWS services, like Kinesis, SQS, SNS, and AWS Lamda. I'm Marcia Villalba, an AWS Severless Hero, with 15 years of experience building backend applications, and I have been designing and developing serverless applications since 2016.
