- [Instructor] Now that we've seen different AWS services in action, let's review the costs and decommission services. If you have followed along with me throughout this course and built services in your own AWS account, it is important that you terminate those services to avoid incurring costs. Let's jump into the management console and review the cost explorer and decommission a service. Here in the AWS management console, I'm going to go down to cost explorer in the list. Select it. I see currently on my month to date costs I have $18.70. I want to understand that $18.70 more so that I know what to decommission. I'll go over to explore costs and select it. This explore costs allows me to filter by service. I'll go to service and select it. Now I can see that in my AWS instance, Kinesis is the largest cost, Redshift is the second, and finally Relational Databases follow them up. The EC2-Instances and S3 are negligible.
