Review AWS mobile service solutions.
- [Instructor] The future of computing for the world is clear and it is mobile. Since the release of the iPhone in 2006, computing resources and development around the mobile platform have taken over the concerns of developers and businesses everywhere. If part of your company's digital life is a mobile app, Amazon has built an impressive environment for your mobile application DevOps and customer engagement. Businesses relying on their mobile applications to bring value directly to their users will find tools in AWS critical to operating in the mobile world.
Mobility solutions require diverse infrastructure to manage users and data at a change rate standard infrastructure cannot keep up with. Amazon has built a suite of mobile products that can extract the critical value from the mobility channel and respond flexibly to streaming events. Before we launch and set up a mobile solution in our AWS account, let's cover each of the pieces of Amazon's suite of mobile solutions. First is the Mobile Hub. The Mobile Hub is for overall management of your mobile projects.
We're going to come back here to start a project in the next lesson. Let's look at the other tools. Next is AWS Cognito. Cognito is user identity management for your mobile solution. Through Cognito, you can manage user pools, set up identity management for sign-in and identity. Next is the AWS Device Farm. The device farm is for testing your mobile solution across virtualized platforms to account for all the variables in the field of mobility.
Next is Mobile Analytics. Mobile Analytics lets you view usage and user actions in your mobile solution. This will help you respond, develop, and engage your users. And finally, AWS Pinpoint. Pinpoint allows you to build campaigns for engagement or marketing to specifically pinpoint users as they engage with your platform. AWS provides a full suite of mobile solutions, giving mobile projects the visibility and response mobile users expect.
