The power of the blockchain is how the server-side performs and integrates to create a trusted ledger. Learn how Amazon-managed blockchains offer the secure and unbreakable fabric required by blockchain deployments.
- [Instructor] If an organization intends to build and protect transactions, the answer is the Blockchain. And Amazon makes it very simple to build a nude Blockchain solution. Let's jump into Amazon Blockchain tool and set up an initial efforts at a new Blockchain. Here in the AWS Management Console, I'll simply type B-L-O-C-K and select Amazon Managed Blockchain. This will take me to this homepage that is present before I create a network. I'm going to select create a network. Now to follow up, I'm going to leave Hyperledger Fabric as my chosen. Ethereum is very popular as well. And Network edition is Starter. I'll scroll down. Make my network name awsblockchainexample. I'll describe it as my first aws managed Blockchain. I'll leave the voting policy at default and select next. Scroll back up. This is our peer to peer member configuration. This is my member. Masterryan and creator of the Blockchain. This is my Hyper Fabric certificate authority configuration. Needs an alphanumeric login ID. And a password. And select next. Review the creation of this. And all of it looks good. So I'll select create network and member. Now we begin to go out and create the first member and the initial node on why I will need to invite new members to for a Fabric of Blockchain users. Over to the right, I can select invitations and invite other people to my network. And we can begin trusted transactions on this network. That's as simple as it is to start an Amazon Managed Blockchain. Amazon is in the development stage of their Quantum Manage Ledger. If an organization is interested in Amazon's Blockchain offering, I encourage getting signed up here to participate.
