- [Instructor] Throughout this course, we will be setting up and tearing down many solutions. It's important to become familiar with this process. In chapter one we have not built any items but let's take a moment to familiarize ourselves with the decommissioning process. AWS gives their clients two approaches to cost control. Cost Explorer to review budget costs against the services. And bill management that details the service costs that may be decommissioned. The two services are inter related but will provide valuable transparency throughout this course. Let's take a look at them at this time. Here I'm inside the AWS Management Console and I've logged in as myself. I'm going to go down to Cost Explorer, and select it. Here we are in AWS Cost Management. This is the home screen and gives us a view of the month to date costs, forecasted month end costs, the particular month we are in trends, and the unblended costs.
