AWS Cost Explorer

- [Instructor] AWS Cost Explorer is an Amazon Web Services tool that allows you to view and analyze your AWS usage and costs using graphs and usage reports. It allows you to view data for the past 13 months, which includes your current month, forecasts your estimated costs, and also gives recommendations about Reserved Instances, if you are using them. When you sign up for Cost Explorer, it takes about 24 hours for the current month's data to be available, and it may take a few days for the rest of the data to be available. The cost data is updated at least once every 24 hours. To start using Cost Explorer, login into your AWS account and click on your name on the top right-hand corner and click on My Billing Dashboard. Click on Cost Explorer on the left navigation bar. When you access this for the first time, you will see a page titled Welcome to Cost Explorer with an option to enable Cost Explorer.
