- Hi, my name's Rich Harrington. And today we're going to explore how you can extend the capability of your Sony A7 Series camera, as well as other cameras in Sony's Alpha line up. We're gonna be taking a look at a lot of the Cyber-shot apps and I'm gonna show you can use apps on your camera to add capabilities. Whether you want to explore things like slow-shutter photography, in-camera time lapse, or even lens correction, there's a wide range of things that you can do with these apps. We're gonna stay both in the studio and head out on location and walk you through several different creative projects that you can do using your camera.
Now these apps are available for installation and I'll walk you through that process. Some of them are free, and some of them will cost you a few dollars each, depending upon functionality. But you'll be able to get a good idea of what each app can do and decide if it's part of your workflow. We've got a lot of ground to cover and I'm really excited because this is a class all about creativity. You're gonna learn different ways of using your camera to come up with cool looking content, whether that be stills or video, and I'll show you how the app ecosystem is gonna give you even more functionality out of your Sony Alpha camera.
Let's get started.
