Another way to take bracketed images is by adjusting the shutter speed of each image. This is useful when taking photos of something moving or spinning. How do you do shutter speed bracketing? In this movie, author Richard Harrington demonstrates how to do shutter speed bracketing with a Sony a7 Series camera and the Sony app called Bracket Pro.
- The third option for bracketing is your shutter speed.…Now with a static subject,…shutter speed is not gonna make much of difference here.…This would really come more into play…with something moving or spinning,…but I'll still show you how it works here.…Shutter speed is gonna be quite useful…for freezing the action.…So imagine that this machine was still able to run.…So if the gears were spinning and that belt was moving,…I might want to freeze the action, getting a crisp shot.…Or maybe the wheels are spinning,…and we want them to become very fluid.…
Well, by going through different shutter speeds,…we can create that type of motion.…This could be quite useful for shots…that have kinetic energy or a moving subject.…Here's how you adjust.…Just press the Menu button, and go in.…And you can go back up to the Application Top,…and go to the bracketing there for Shutter Speed.…Now in order to work, it's gonna want you…to switch the camera to Shutter Priority.…So if you're not there, switch from Aperture Priority…to Shutter Priority.…
