Making an object closed

- In this video we're gonna take a look at how to close an entity. So let's go into the top view and we're gonna start off with curves here and I'm gonna switch off the grid. So by closing an entity, what I mean is by taking this point and this point, or the two end points of an entity and making them occupy the same space. So let's go to Object Edit, Close. It's a very simple function. The only option we have is to Preserve Shape. So this in case, I'm going to leave Preserve Shape off and let's just say go to that and let's pick this curve here So you can see what's happened here. it basically closes that curve into a complete entity, in other words it makes it into a periodic entity. Now let's do the same for this one here and you'll see we have a very different result. Now the reason for that is if we look at the top, we have two sets of control points bunched up very close together.
