- Let's take a look at how to create a ball corner or a round surface in Alias. In this case, we're going to use a very simple example, which is, essentially, this corner. The way I created that was, essentially, I just created a cube, scaled it up, and then just did an Ungroup. Then just picked the rear portion, like that, and then just did a Delete. That's what we're going to be using. Let's get started with the Round command. Under Surfaces, we're going to go to Round, which is this icon down here. Let's open up the Options. In this case here, we're going to start off with Equal Radius layer, so make sure that's active. We're going to start off with just some very simple options, using the same value of radius. That's why this layer is labeled "Equal Radius." These are the options that we have to create a round.
