Linking records

- [Instructor] In any sort of a database system, we often need to create relationships between records in two different tables. For example, in our system there is a clear relationship between the Speaker's table and the Schedule of Events table. And that's because each speaker will be speaking at one or more events. This is called a One-to-Many-Relationship. There are other types of relationships too, but this is the one that we'll be covering in this course. So whenever we need to create a relationship, that's when we turn to a special field in Airtable, known as the Linked Record Field, because this is the field that allows us to create relationships between records. So let's go ahead and create this field. So let's go back into our Speakers table. We'll switch back to our grid view and we'll scroll back up to the top, because we're going to be working with some of our speakers up at the top here. And now it's time…
