Attachment field: Adding photos, videos, and documents

- [Instructor] One of the coolest features of Airtable that really sets it apart from a normal Spreadsheet Program is the attachment field. The attachment field lets you upload any sort of files that you'd like to store in your base. Photos, videos, PDF files, Word documents, audio clips, anything you can think of. If you look in the exercise files for this chapter, you'll find a folder called Speaker Photos. Go ahead and download that folder to your desktop. Now let's go into our Speakers Table so we can upload the photos of our speakers. We'll start by adding a new field and we'll call it Speaker Photo. We'll make this an attachment field. Then we'll click save. Now we can simply drag and drop a photo from our desktop into this field. Our first record here is Ally Bode. So let's open up the folder on our desktop and we'll drag one of Ally's photos into the attachment field. It takes a few seconds for Airtable to…
