The art of tracking

- [Eran] Tracking is a process of automatically locating a point or a series of points from frame to frame in a sequence, allowing the user to stabilize track or show the current movement in the shot. A visual effects artists tracks or stabilizes clips on a daily basis, but little is known of the way the software is analyzing the shot. By understanding exactly how motion tracking works, it is possible to improve solutions and speed up work. Over the past years, Adobe invested a lot of work making their tracking tools better in After Effect. Today, all the tracking data is fully integrated into the project and available on the timeline for parenting expressions or simply copy and pasting tracker key frames between layers. This course is where you can find concentrated information about all the tracking tools in the application in one place. I'll also show you how, when and where to use each one of the different trackers. To succeed in motion tracking, you'll need to practice it yourself. This is the reason I designed this class as a project-base course. You'll get access to all the files that I'm using and by following along, you will end up with deep understanding of the process and a sense of accomplishment. You'll also have me, a veteran user with years of teaching experience and I will make sure that nothing will escape you when you want to track something in After Effects.
