Working with parallel and spot lights

- Let's continue our exploration into light types by looking at parallel and spotlights. We'll finish off this movie by looking at when we might choose to use one particular light over another. So I'm here in my chapter two underscore two composition. Let's start by adding a parallel light to the scene. I'll go here to the layer menu, choose new and let's go to lights. Leave the name as the default. The light type should be set to parallel. We want to make sure that the color is white and the intensity is 100%. If you have falloff on, just make sure to set to none for the time being and we want to make sure not to cast shadows. I'm going to press okay and we can see that the light is added to the scene. I'm just going to actually turn off the eyes, we can the before and after and rather you'll see is that adding a parallel light, it doesn't get rid of any previous light and that's the way that the light is being emitted.
