Working with depth of field
- In this movie let's learn how we can properly work with depth of field to add more realism and dimension into our After Effects compositions. So I'm currently here in my chapter one underscore 12 composition. And we've got a series of Photoshop layers here in this project, which have been planed in 3D space and a camera movement has been added from the Johnny Cash poster out to reveal the room. Now this was a film I worked on several years ago on Johnny Cash. I was the editor of the film, as well as I helped put together some of these motion graphics. And what we want to do is actually add just a little bit of depth of field to our scene. And to do that what we need to do is activate it on the camera. One way of doing that is to bring up the camera settings. So if you select the camera that's inside your composition, press or double click.
