- To put it mildly, the different options available inside of After Effects for fixing lens distortion are kind of light. Especially when you compare it to the whole host of different tools that are available inside of Photoshop. Now, the first thing you should notice when we open this project is the fact that we're dealing with kind of a cool image. I'd like to take this moment to thank Richard Harrington for letting me work with this. I think it's going to do a great job showing us how we can actually fix lens distortion using the adaptive wide angle filter. So, let's go ahead and get started. Now, if you notice, the image is set at a four by three ratio but I'm only looking at twenty five percent magnification so let's go up under Image and choose Image Size. Make sure your measurement is set to Pixels and you can see it's 4000 by 3000 pixels. I'm just gonna go ahead and click OK.
