The vast majority of the population are visual learners and with attention spans on the decline, learn why an eye-catching animation is essential to communicate a brand or message. The question is why wouldn't you use motion graphics with social media campaigns?
- [Instructor] Motion graphics help communicate an idea or concept in a visually appealing way. And so we're using animation as a tool to educate our audience. Since a large proportion of the population are visual learners, around 65%, it makes sense to employ these visual communication techniques. Motion graphics allow you to create eye-catching content. You are more likely to hold a viewer's attention with an animation over a still image. And let's face it, nowadays the average human attention span is eight seconds, which is less than that of a goldfish. We're going to focus on a fictitious brand called RED30 Tech, and we'll use motion graphics to add life to a piece of branding content, which could go on the company's YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
