What's rendering now?
- Sometimes things are moving slowly no matter what you do. For example, you're working on what looks like a simple project. But when you hit the run preview button and in this case I'm going to hit zero on the numeric keypad or control zero if you're working on a laptop, things are not moving as fast you expect. You can see what I mean over here. Well, the good news is that After Effects allow you to see the render progress and therefore decipher which one of the processes or effects is causing slowness. Okay, so I'm going to stop the run preview for a moment. And then I'm just going to hold down command option semicolon in order to open up the preferences panel. And I'm going to go to the display category and make sure to enable show rendering progress in info panel and flow chart. Now, the info panel must be visible in order to watch this progress. If you don't see it, go to the window and make sure the info panel is turned on. And then let's continue with our run preview progress.…
