What you should know before watching this course

- This course is based on four real-world project. Each one will demonstrate different approach and show you how to take advantage of the various tools to create exciting 3D type inside Premier Pro. The first chapter will utilize Photoshop and the second one will be served with the kind help of Adobe Aftereffects. But in both cases, we'll use Premier Pro as our compositing hub. In chapters three and four, we'll rely on third party tools from Boris FX and New Blue FX. And I'm also going to use few other third parts tools. So before we start, I want to walk you through couple of websites, so you can download the free trial version if you don't already have those plugins and this will help you to follow along with me. We are starting with PixelSquid, which is brought to us by the team behind TurboSquid, one of the world's leading marketplace for 3d models. This technology allow you to bring 3D objects to Photoshop without the need to know anything about 3D. More on this in an upcoming movie. But here is their website and I highly recommend to download the free plugin if you want to follow along. The next one is Bounce Back Pack from filmimpact.net. This package is a set of transitions for Premier Pro and those transitions were designed to animate elements into the frame in a fresh and easy way, creating a very natural motion with native support for motion blur. And if you're speaking about motion blur, our next guy here is ReelSmart Motion Blur. This is an effect from RE:Vision Effects. And it will allow you to apply a natural-looking motion blur by automatically tracking tho motion of pixels in the frame. It's also GPU accelerated and we'll see how to use it in few occasions during this course. Next, we have Continuum Complete from Boris FX. A set of creative tools for editing, visual effects, motion graphics, and post production. In this course, we'll focus mainly on the 3D objects unit from this impressive collection. And the last one here is Titler Pro from New Blue FX. A very capable 3D title tool that can auto-animate type as well as multi-layered documents. And it can also be upgraded to include dozens of premade templates all ready to go. Now, don't worry if you don't own all of those tools. My goal here in this course is that you see what those plugins can do for you, and then you can decide if they're worth your money. In any case, you can download free trial versions of all the tools that I've showed you here. Just visit the relevant websites, and follow the onscreen instructions. Note that all of the tools in this course support both Windows and Mac OS.
