What you should know before watching this course

- [Voiceover] My goal in this course is to explain the creative process of creating these infographics for the social tech explainer video. In this course we learn how to take a rough sketch and convert it into a cohesive, state-of-the-art motion graphics piece. Now this is not a regular step-by-step training but more of a behind the scenes style which should give you an opportunity to learn how to explain ideas and processes that are part of the social media experience. During the upcoming lessons, I'll show you how to build a storyboard which you can easily turn into an animated movie using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. Now I'm assuming that you possess some knowledge of Adobe After Effects, so I'm not going to linger on basic operations, but concentrate more on the advanced techniques. This project also relying on few third party plugins such as Mister Horse Animation Composer, Trapcode Particular and Motion Boutique Newton, so I've included a short introduction movies for each. Now these movies are not full courses, but they should be enough to get you started or at least understand how those tools were used in this infographic movie. One more thing, since this is a commercial project, the project files are not included with this training, but this shouldn't matter at all because the idea here is to share a way of thinking, conceptual design, and of course, the techniques themselves. And for those tasks, there is no need to use these specific materials. Now before we'll start, I want to thank Tomer Gerbi, a talented motion graphic artist who made this movie. Tomer has agreed to share some of his creative solutions with us, and if you want to see more of his impressive stuff, go ahead and visit his website at tomergb.com, which is also a nice wordplay with the RGB letters and his name. Okay, I think we are ready to peek behind the scenes of this explainer video and learn how this movie was made.
