- Let's take a different approach with 3D. This time exploring a feature called Vanishing Point. Vanishing Point is a feature in Photoshop that allows you to draw planes. Much like the Vanishing Point in Illustration. For example, if you were drawing a road and it went off into the distance, it would eventually narrow down to a small peak. Well it's the same idea, we can draw planes to represent areas within a photo. Let me show you a photograph and we'll talk about some of the planes. In Photoshop here we'll switch back to the default work space. And opening up a photographic source. Now I've made this photo a little bit easier to work with in that I've already cut the building out from the background and I used Content-Aware Fill, to fill in the missing areas.
