Find out what After Effects CC 2017 has in store for you. Learn about the new features, performance improvements, and workflow enhancements, including Typekit syncing and the C4D renderer.
- [Instructor] Hi, and welcome to After Effects Creative Cloud 2017. I'm Mark Christiansen, and I'm going to take you through the new features in my favorite Adobe application. In this course I'll be showing you some great new additions, starting with the integration of Cinema 4D for 3D rendering in an After Effects composition. We'll move onto workflow improvements that you'll especially appreciate if you've been using After Effects for a while. Some of these make activities you may do all the time, like hold on a last frame, or create a lower third for Premiere Pro, much simpler.
I'll show you new features including the addition of Typekit sync to manage missing fonts, and projects templates that you can design yourself to save a lot of tedious organization. After Effects has been enhanced for performance and will no longer stall playing most source clips. It also works better with Red and Avid footage. And we'll take a peek at team projects, a revolutionary way of collaborating on a video production. So whether this is your first look at what's new in After Effects, or you're using this course to get a more hands-on understanding of the new features, and especially if you're looking to learn about features you may not have known about if someone didn't show them to you, I look forward to being your guide, showing you how to take advantage of what After Effects now has to offer.
The November 2016 release is just the first of many for After Effects CC 2017. Mark will update the course as soon as new features are released. Check back often for new tutorials.
