From the course: Compositing a Cell Phone in After Effects
Welcome
- [Voiceover] Hi, my name is Andy Needham and welcome to my MoGraph course on composting a cell phone. I'll take you through a typical screen replacement workflow where we composite an animated app interface into a live action shot. I'll start by showing you a storyboard and explain why planning a shoot is important. From there we'll discuss the decisions we made when filming the phone. Then we'll bring our app interface into After Effects where we re-time it to match the action in our phone footage. We track the screen in Mocha AE and head back to After Effects to apply the tracking data. We cover keying with Keylight and then add finishing touches such as color correction and an animated logo to complete the promo. We finish the course by creating a web ready deliverable that we can share with the world. (upbeat music) So if you're ready, lets get started.
