Put a company's branding into motion using only typography. Take this 5-day mograph challenge to test and stretch your skills.
- Hey, I'm E.J. Hassenfratz, and I'll be your host for this five-day motion graphics challenge. In a previous five-day challenge, you were tasked with animating a group of company logos for an imaginary client. You learned how to utilize the elements in a logo to your advantage to help reflect the brand the logo represented. In this next five-day challenge, you'll build upon your earlier animation experience with designing a company logo, but this time you'll focus primarily on the typeface.
You'll have to get even more creative with thinking of the best way to animate these fonts to reflect what each brand represents, since you're just working with type as the main visual. I'm looking forward to seeing how you solve these animation design challenges. By now, you know that much of how you can breathe life into your animation lies with keyframing, and animation curves. So be sure to draw on what you've learned so far. Remember to post your animated GIF's to social media using the hashtag #5daymograph, and to the challenge's Tumblr page at 5daymograph.tumblr.com Are you ready? Let's get going on this next week's set of challenges.
We'd love to see your solutions. Show us your work on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #5dayMograph, and by posting it to our Tumblr page at 5daymograph.tumblr.com.
