Watermark effect

- We'll close this chapter with one of the easiest effects to achieve. Easy, but very useful. I'm going to assume that you did some work that you are proud of, and you may want to sell it online or hand it to your client for review. In both cases, you may want to protect your video by punching a watermark signature with your own logo. You can do it quite easily inside After Effects using the Advanced Blending option under the blending options from the Layer Styles category, or by using a Texturize effect, which will work even if your source doesn't have transparency. Let me show you both cases right now. I'm assuming that we want to protect this Dor Shore clip, which is very nice, with this addition of lens flare that we just added. I'm going to use the DJ ESMIX Illustrator file, which means that we can scale it to any size we like. But most importantly, we have transparent pixels, so we can use those transparent pixels in order to create the watermark effect. I'm going to start by…
