Often times I need to jump into other people's animations.…May be it's a co-worker and I need to make a quick change.…Or I am just trying to remember what I did over a…year ago working on a project when the client comes back with revisions.…There is a useful short cut to get to just the animation properties very quickly.…In a composition you can select all of your layers Ctrl or Cmd+A .…Then press U to see all of the…layers that have user added keyframes.…Let's press the Tilde or Grave key to maximize this panel.…
You'll see how this gets me exactly in and allows me to see just what's at play.…I can access in this case the expression, as well as…any of the properties for the text selector or anything else.…In fact, I find the U shortcut to…be most useful when working with text animation presets.…As it allows…me to just access the controls that need to be modified…to re-time or adjust the speed and delivery of the text animation.…Related to this is the ability to pres U+U in quick succession.…
