- [Instructor] I get it. I really do. You feel like you have no need for grids or guides. You can just eyball it. I mean, you're a designer. You've got that designer's eye! The Midas Touch! Well, get over yourself. We all need some of that sweet, sweet, grid and guideline action, especially when trying to place colorful, pop art peanuts in a perfect, pop art peanut row! So, I'll quickly go over some of After Effects' great grid and guide tools, and a third-party script, to help enhance what's already there. First, things first though, I'm here in chapter five, zero three, Utilzing Guides and Grids, and I'm going to demo snapping before anything else. I've got a row of peanuts here, and if you're not seeing the outlines, go to View, Show Layer Controls, that's if you're following along. Now, I'm going to go to Snapping up top here.
