- [Voiceover] I'm here in Chapter 2-01, Value At Time Expression. And just a little reminder, I've got a lot of locked off background layers hidden by the Shy Guy in these comps, so I advise you to just leave the Shy Guy be to keep things all nice and orderly for the time being. Now, the loop expression is great but it isn't the end all be all of loops. In fact, it has a few shortcomings. One major shortcoming is that you cannot use the loop expression on a mask or shape path animation. Let me go ahead and hit Command A on my keyboard to select all my layers. I'll hit U to expose all of the keyframes I have created on all of them and click Off. I'm going to go up to my mask path here on my coffee solid mask animation. And if I just scrub through we can see that I've got a little splash going on, made by an animated mask path. I'm going to go ahead and hold down Option on my keyboard and click on my stopwatch for that mask path, and I'm going to type in LoopOut{} for the default…
